I'm a fan of Chuck Palahniuk's work because they're all mostly disturbing, but I wasn't feeling "Invisible Monsters" too much. I guess you can say that it's not the kind of "disturbing" that I'm into & / or looking for. The story revolves around a fashion model who goes through an accident, & she's mostly around trans-genders, & that's not really my favorite selection of types of characters. The plot was very dry to me compared to his other books & his other work that I've read, & the twist in the end was very dull. A majority of the characters also go under various / different names & identities through-out the whole entire book, & I don't mind, but to other people who might not be able to keep up, they might not like that. "Invisible Monsters" was cleverly written, but it's personally not my favorite Chuck Palahniuk book.
