Physical education with Camille: The best time to go in the sauna's actually before your work-out, & not after. Some people like to go to the sauna after their work-out for relaxation purposes alone, & that's fine, but if you're in there after a work-out because you think that it'll help your recovery process by preventing sore muscles, it actually doesn't help you in that way. The heat in the sauna increases your heart rate, so it should get you pumped up for your work out, & because of that reason, going after your work-out will actually delay your body from starting its' recovering process. Sometimes, being sore after a work-out's inevitable, even if you train all of the time. If you're concerned about having sore muscles, instead, here are some ways to prevent that:
